Last Sunday we began a new sermon series titled, "It's a Revolution." Our message on Sunday is "The Leaders," and is based on Luke 5:1-11 and Mark 1:16-20. Jesus came to bring a revolution. However, the revolution is rooted in what God already did. Luke makes sure to show Jesus as the new Moses who then conveys his authority to the leaders, the disciples. The disciples were his agents operating under his authority, bringing his message. And so are we, Christians! Do you bring the correct message? Do you do so under his authority?
Sunday is Name Tag Sunday, we will receive an offering for Faith and Action and have the privilege of witnessing infant baptism.

NEW BLOG POSTED THIS MORNING – Pastor Joel posted a new blog this morning entitled, "Extreme Weather; A Sovereign, Good God, and Modern Skepticism." What's the Christian explanation for a good, all powerful God allowing massive storms to decimate? Christian actor Kirk Cameron takes a great stab at an answer. Note the counter jabs by an author critiquing Kirk's explanation. It is posted on http://www.pathwaycrc.org/ under the Resources Tab, under JZ's A To Z Blog.
