This Sunday we continue with the series, “Love God, Love All.” God has declared that humans are to love Him above all and our neighbors as ourselves. How do we do that? The Ten Commandments/Ten Words are the broad outline from God on what it means to love Him and others. Sunday we study ownership and properly relating to things. Humans properly have a close relationship with things, but where are the lines when we get too close to things, both ours and others?
Invite from the Zuidemas: Following the September 4, 90-minute distribution of our “Come. See. Connect” fliers to subdivisions, the Zuidemas invite you to their home for a potluck picnic. Bring lawn chairs, a favorite food, and yard or board games. Pastor Joel will smoke some pork roasts, so bring complementary foods. If you have preferences for a different holiday weekend meat, bring it. A grill will be available. If your kids like fishing, bring rods for an afternoon excursion to the pond on 93rd. Let’s hang out and enjoy each other. This is a rain or shine party. RSVP to the office by Friday, September 2, email@example.com.
