Sunday's message is titled "Life in the Middle" and is based on I Kings 20:23-30. Most of life is lived in the middle. Mountain top experiences are thrilling, but rare. When they occur, God often feels very close. Horrendous lows do come, but they are usually temporary. God often makes His presence obvious in the dark. However, life in the middle is where we are most of the time. Where is God then? In Sunday’s text from I Kings, we meet some people who are very sure that God is in some places but not in others. God will show that He’s God of the hills, plains, and valleys. Therefore wherever we are, He is!

WOMEN'S WEDNESDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY – The Women's Wednesday Evening Bible Study will meet Wednesday, September 20 at 7:00 p.m. in St. John. We will be discussing The Armor of God by Priscilla Shirer: All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny. But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you're tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, The Armor of God study is for you. The Enemy always fails miserably when he meets a woman dressed for the occasion. The Armor of God, more than merely a biblical description of the believer's inventory, is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory, (7 sessions). We will meet on the first and third Wednesdays. Please call the church office if you are interested in joining, (219) 558-0573. We welcome all new and returning women to study with us!!!!
